Services
Working together with out-of-state rescues and the Laredo City Shelter, we identify shelter animals at risk of euthanasia. Once identified we then work to release the animal from the shelter and into our in-home fostering network where they adjust and quarantine before transport North to their receiving rescue. We work closely with local veterinarians to ensure that our rescues receive any medical treatment they need so they can be in full health and ready for their forever homes. Once our rescues are medically cleared by a veterinarian, we work with a volunteer transport network to move the animals out of Laredo, into their receiving rescue, and ultimately their forever homes.

MedicalWe ensure that every animal in our care is evaluated by a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.

Fostering and QuarantineAll of our rescues are fostered in-home for at least 14 days prior to transport. This allows them to adjust to life outside of the shelter and affords us the time to evaluate any medical needs they may have.
|
TransportOnce they're strong enough and cleared by a veterinarian, our animals are transported to their receiving rescues with the help of a volunteer driver network.
